Vision
The Couple and Family Counseling Course is designed with a biblical perspective to help train and equip students in systemic theory and practice for healthy lifestyle changes. The course gives a historical development of systemic family therapy to better equip students in the use of various therapeutic tools for effective ministry. Systemic approaches to counseling combined with sensitivity to the Holy Spirit provide a powerful tool to disciple individuals, couples, and families. Building healthy families help to build healthy societies.

Outreach
The outreach practicum is a 10 to 12 week supervised internship in Indianapolis, Indiana with Open Hand Ministry. Students would have opportunity to observe sessions with a licensed family therapist, and have opportunity to do counseling when appropriate with supervision.
Students would also participate in recovery groups such as AA and other training opportunities.
