You are invited to the (East) African Family Ministry Forum organized at Youth With a Mission Arusha, Tanzania. This event is for those who are working in Africa in the area of Families, or who would like to start a Family ministry. Our first focus is on those who work with YWAM, but is not a prerequisite to have completed a YWAM DTS or Family Ministries School
The purpose of the forum is to gather YWAM-ers who have a passion for working with and through families, in order to learn from each other, to build network and encourage one another.
In the forum we will learn from each other by reports of different ministry expressions, discovering tools we use in ministry, and through input on relevant topics. While we are together we also benefit from meeting one another, making valuable connections which will strengthen our ministries through collaboration. As we come and gather we seek God’s face as we intercede for and prophecy over what God wants to do through and for us. We encourage each other with His dream for families: raising sons and daughters who know Him and make Him known.

The forum will take place from 21-25 of April 2024.
Sunday 21st is the arrival day, Friday 26th departure day.
The registration and participation fees have been determined based on three different categories, taking into account different regions and nationalities. Please find the details below:
- Tanzanians: $48.
- East Africans: $60.
- Non-East Africans: $80.
This amount covers accommodation, food, and forum participation, but it excludes airport transfers and longer stays.
How to get there?
The closest international airport is Kilimanjaro (JRO). Pick up costs $70 per vehicle. This is a 1.5hrs drive.
Alternatively you could fly to Nairobi airport and then come across the border by shuttle bus (5hrs drive) costs $20 per person.
Or you could find a local flight to Arusha airport, from which the pick up costs just $10.
Should you come by public transport then you will arrive in Arusha bus station. A ride to the base is $10, both when using a taxi or a YWAM vehicle.
