The Family Ministry School (FMS) is a three month school focused on providing a deeper understanding of the Biblical foundations of marriage and family life. You will receive high quality teaching from international speakers and tools that will help you minister to families.
RESTORE – EQUIP – MOBILIZE
The FMS is run by Family Ministries Norway (Family Focus) and provides a family-friendly framework for the school. Children of students will be integrated as an important part of our community.
The FMS is a registered UofN Course. Course code: FAM/CNH 231 under the College of Counseling.
By serving on teams that hold seminars regarding marriage, relationships, and parenting, you will be able to apply what you’ve learned during lecture phase. You will also have opportunities to help plan and conduct family camps in some locations. You will participate in a limited amount of supervised family counseling opportunities. Families will have an opportunity to minister together during the field assignment.
*Running parallel to the FMS, will also be a Foundations Program for kids ages 4-15. This is a kids’ version of DTS.
Lecture phase price: (including study materials, food and lodging)
All prices are pr. person
Adults: 28.500 NOK
Children 8-14 years: 14.500 NOK
Children 3-7 years: 9.000 NOK
Children 0-2 years: 3.000 NOK
Price for outreach depends on the destination and length of outreach.
Dates for outreach are not included in the 3 months lecture phase.
