
This Foundations for Family Studies is the online version of the 2nd level school for Family Studies. It will require online participation and at least one physical meeting (a couple of weeks), known as an intensive. The school starts in April and runs for about a year, finishing the lecture/online phase by the end of March. The intensive is planned to be toward the end of the course (April/May 2025).
The foundations for Family Studies (FAM251) introduces students to the Biblical foundational concepts of family life. It presents a model for the study and understanding of the dynamics of family life, and introduces basic tools for coaching individuals and families. The lecture phase is broken down into these major topics.

- Families in ministry
Students can anticipate a challenge to grow and develop Christian character traits. Students will increase their competence in ministering to families. The FFS will, apart from strengthening your own family and relationships, prepare you to reach out to families in your sphere of influence i.e., the church, community, YWAM base.
Languages
We are looking at running this school in multiple languages. The main course material is in English, but the processing, one-on-one and assignments can be done in multiple languages (French, Spanish, Portuguese, and more depending on the need).
