When?
The conference starts on the evening of October 2nd with dinner, followed by the opening session. From 3-5 October we will have sessions during the day and evening. We will end the evening of the 5th, with departure on the morning of the 6th.
Who?
This event is for our international Family Ministries Tribe. Are you a YWAM-er working in the area of families, or are you leading YWAM/UofN schools with a focus on families? Do you have a perspective beyond your own local ministry? Then join us for this international Family Ministries Strategy Conference.
What?
The Strategy Conference for Family Ministries International takes place once every couple of years. The last times we met were in 2019 in Bangkok and in 2021 online. It is a time to connect with our fellow workers, seek God’s heart for what He wants to do with regards to Family and all this entails, and how we can collaborate and be fruitful as YWAM-ers addressing this sphere.
Where?
The conference will be held at YWAM Fortaleza. Fortaleza is a big city in the north east of Brazil and it has an international airport (Pinto Martins – FOR). It is known for its beaches and the year-round tropical weather conditions. The base is about a 30-45 minutes drive from the airport depending traffic conditions.

You can find the options for registration and payment below. There is a limited number of places available, so we encourage you to book as soon as possible, but no later than September 1st. Tickets for children up to 12 years old can be booked at the reduced rate, provided that they share the room with their parents and/or siblings. Babies under 1 are free of charge, unless you require a baby cot.
Transport from and to the airport is not included in the price below. Arranging your own ride, for example using Uber, is the most economical option. You can indicate when booking below if you need to be picked up by YWAM, which will be charged separately.
Extra nights (arriving early or leaving later) can be booked as well, but we will confirm with you if we can accommodate you or if alternative accommodation is needed.
Depending your nationality you may need a visa for entering Brazil. Please check here and let us know if you need an official invitation letter.
