“I was a normal husband and father”

It was such a blessing to see the families who came to camp this year experiencing God’s love as a family in ways they never had before! This year we had 8 participant families, 4 leading families, and several single staff, for a total of more than 60 people all together. Our reservation for the venue we had last year fell through, which created some stress as we didn’t have a location for the camp until 3 days before it started (in true Nepali fashion!), but it ended up being a blessing in disguise.

We found a Catholic school that offered us their facilities……free of charge! They had a huge property with many rooms, a huge dining hall, and even a small playground that became the home for the kids from first thing in the morning until last thing at night! Just like last year, we had the help of a Dutch couple and an American family who were greatly instrumental in running the camp, teaching, and leading games and activities.

Here is a testimony from a camp participant…

Before attending this camp, I thought I was a normal husband and father. My work was my first priority, and I did not spend much time with my wife and kids. But after attending this camp, I have learned to put God first and then my family. I am committed to becoming a better husband and father for my family.
