Hope for Europe, a European initiative from the Evangelical Alliance (EEA), gave the annual Hope Award to Richard and Maria Kane for their outstanding work with Marriage Week internationally.
During their European Conference, The EEA recognised the way that Marriage Week gives local traction to the powerful values of Marriage and healthy relationships, allowing thousands of people to participate in events. This is a significant recognition of the work across Europe and beyond, done by MarriageWeek members and affiliates.
This is a good opportunity to ask the question if your network should be organising something for Marriage Week 2021 (traditionally held annually from February 7 – 14). It is easy to start and there is a website with resources to help you plan for next year. Why not join over 25 nations to make a positive declaration about marriage and help couples across your nation have stronger marriages? And if your nation already runs marriage week, join in with activities for your area of influence!
There is an annual Marriage Week international conference, the next event is planned for 28 – 30 May 2021, in Vienna (Austria). For more information, see: www.marriage-weekinternational.com
